For the BM Group, help starts at home
Help Starts at Home: The BM Group provides an update on the ways it is assisting the individuals that make up BMG as well as providing assistance to the community at large.
A few days ago, our Chairman, Balraj Mann, spoke with Surrey604 to discuss BM Group’s efforts in keeping their employees safe and employed.
We are not immune to the emotional, physical and economical impact that has come with the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the BM Group of Companies will continue to prioritize employee safety while continuing efforts to keep everyone employed. Increased safety measures on job sites, work from home procedures as well as implementing financial assistance programs for staff and tenants, are all practices we can implement to make a difference for our community.
“Employee safety is the most important for us, always,” says Balraj Mann to Surrey604. Mann continued to expand by explaining how BM Group is “Following the guidance of our respective governments, we were proactive in shutting down our operations in India and in Seattle. To help our staff in these difficult times, we are continuing to pay their salaries instead of laying them off. Some are working from home, where possible.”
“We are all in it together. We will get over it together. We need to stay positive and help each other as much as possible.” – Balraj Mann
