Polycrete Restorations Ltd. is a full-service structural restoration & waterproofing company. Our projects include shopping centers, parkades, industrial structures, civil works, heritage buildings, bridges and more.

We are looking to hire several Cement Masons / Concrete Finishers. (NOC 73100)

The position is full time, working 30-40 hours per week. It is based out of 202-204 Cayer Street, Coquitlam, BC V3K 5B1, which is also our business address. You will work throughout the lower mainland.

The position pays between $31.11 – $38.75 per hour, depending on level of experience with the possibility of performance-based raises. You will also receive extended health benefits, prescription drugs, dental coverage, and 2 weeks’ vacation.

The duties of the Cement Masons are to:

• Waterproof and restore concrete surfaces
• Make concrete surfaces damp proof
• Repair, resurface and replace damaged concrete structures
• Restore cement foundations, floors and other structures
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures
• Chip, scrape, and grind high spots, ridges and rough projections to finish concrete, using pneumatic chisels or power grinders

The requirements of the position are:

• 2+ years’ experience as a Cement Mason, Concrete Finisher, or related
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of safe work practices in the concrete finishing industry
• Sound knowledge of mixing cement, plaster and mortar
• Ability to understand the blueprints of concrete structures
• Proficient verbal and written English language skills, required
