Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for a new team member to fill the position of Marketing Coordinator for our Materials Supply Segment. Reporting to the Managing Partner, as a Marketing Coordinator at BM Group International, you will be expected to assist in evolving our company’s brand and promoting sales through various marketing strategies and tactics. You will be responsible for managing social media marketing accounts, as well as some company websites.
This position will be on-site and based out of the Surrey/Langley/Delta area of the Lower Mainland.
What You’ll Do:
Website Management:
- Perform website audits and provide optimization recommendations
- Oversee website updates, manage content changes
- Act as a liaison between web developers, Management, and content creators
- Capture up to date marketing content for all companies’ websites as required
Social & Digital Media Management:
- Contribute new ideas and provide photos and graphics where necessary
- Plan and schedule content calendar for the company social media accounts
- Content research, content creation, social monitoring, analytics, performance reporting
- Interact with followers – DM and comment replies if applicable
- Ongoing Social Media strategy revisions/updates based on analytics performance
- Design graphics, produce videos, and develop marketing materials that align with brand guidelines and campaign goals
- Design, implement, and analyze email campaigns to support lead generation and customer engagement
Data Analysis:
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly data analysis on social media and website performance, tweaking processes where necessary
- Participate in and present performance metrics at monthly meeting with stakeholders. Discuss marketing initiatives
- Participate in regular meetings with sales teams to review sales performance and align marketing strategies with sales goals
To qualify for this role, you have:
- Post – secondary education (diploma or certificate) in Business, Marketing, or related discipline
- 1 – 3 years’ experience working in a dedicated marketing role
- Good working knowledge of WIX, WordPress, Adobe and MS Office 365
- Working knowledge of Web and Social Media platforms
- Analytical mindset with a working knowledge of Google Analytics, and other online reporting tools
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
- Driven to continuously learn from experiences, seek out feedback and new develop opportunities
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Solid verbal / written communication skills in both internal stakeholder & external communications
- Strong command of graphic design tools, would be an asset
Working Conditions:
- Office environment, working to deadlines
- May be required to work outside of normal work hours on occasion to meet the needs of the business
- Sitting for long periods of time
Salary/Wage Range:
- $52,000 – $60,000 ($25.00 – $29.00 per hour)
