We’re BMG Building Supplies Inc., proudly part of the Home Hardware family – Canada’s largest independent home improvement retailer. We’ve been helping Canadians build and improve their homes since 1964, and now, under new ownership, our Princeton location is growing and looking for awesome people to join us!

We’re currently on the lookout for a Part-Time Cashier, who’s friendly, dependable, and loves helping others. If you enjoy chatting with people, keeping things organized, and being part of a supportive team, this might be the perfect fit for you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Welcoming customers with a smile and making them feel at home.
• Running the cash register, handling payments, and keeping your drawer balanced.
• Making sure prices are accurate and receipts are handed out.
• Helping customers find what they need and answering questions about products and promotions.
• Processing returns and exchanges with care and professionalism.
• Keeping the checkout area tidy and stocked.
• Sharing info about store deals and loyalty programs.
• Pitching in with inventory and team meetings.
• Following safety guidelines and store policies.
• Helping stock shelves and possibly assisting in the paint department.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Cashier or in a front facing customer service role.
• Friendly and clear communication skills.
• Basic math and computer know-how.
• Comfortable standing for long periods.
• Able to work 2 – 3 days per week for the duration of the winter months, and up to full-time hours in the busy months (March to October).
