Production Foreman

We’re Sanderson Concrete Ltd., and we design and manufacture exceptional concrete products for the landscape, building, and architectural trades. Whether we’re making walls, steps, planters, benches, tables or signage for parks and buildings. We’re the leading architectural precast company in Western Canada.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Foreman with at least 2 years of experience in concrete precast manufacturing. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production operations, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and lead a team of production workers to meet manufacturing goals efficiently and effectively.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production personnel in the precast concrete plant.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to maintain high performance and morale.
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and quality control teams to resolve production issues.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Assist in inventory management and material requisitioning.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a concrete precast or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of precast concrete production processes and equipment.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, production software).

Working Environment:

  • Fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and heavy machinery.
  • Requires standing, lifting, and manual labor for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
