  • Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and field hazard assessments.
  • Keep safety documents organized and up-to-date.
  • Work with government agencies (like WorkSafe BC) when needed.
  • Investigate accidents and near misses, and share what you learn to help us improve.
  • Stay on top of safety trends and help us adapt to new requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers to write Safe Work Procedures.
  • Help with internal and external COR audits.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 2 years of experience in construction, with 1–2 years as a CSO on-site.
  • NCSO Certification (or working towards it), CSO certification at minimum.
  • Current OFA Level 2 (Level 3 is a bonus!).
  • COR Auditor certification and experience with audits.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and your own vehicle.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check for sensitive projects.
  • Experience with hazardous waste removal (asbestos, lead, mold) is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with WorkSafe BC requirements.
  • Willingness to travel to different sites across the Lower Mainland.
  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office) and attention to detail.
  • Great communication skills—clear, concise, and friendly.

What to Expect:

  • A mix of office and field work, sometimes under tight deadlines.
  • Occasional work outside regular hours and on-call for emergencies.
  • Supportive team environment where safety comes first.

If you’re organized, proactive, and ready to help us keep our sites safe, we’d love to hear from you! Send your resume to RECRUITMENT@bmgroupinternational.com
