We are looking for a new team member to fill the position of Saw Operator. You will work closely with a team of concrete cutting, coring, and scanning professionals to execute various tasks associated with concrete cutting.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver concrete cutting and coring services using slab saws, wall saws, and core drills
• Grind, demolish, and remove concrete as per job requirements
• Use experience and knowledge to mentor and train junior crew
• Load and unload materials and equipment, as required
• Keep the workspace/site free of debris and construction waste
• Help promote a work environment where the safety and health of all on Urban Sawing & Scanning employees, and all other co-workers is top priority
• Set a high standard for quality of work that helps elevate the skills of the rest of the crew
• Provide professional and organized client services, while proactively participating in solving any problems that may arise
• Work in a safe and respectful manner on company & client job sites
• Other construction related task that may be required to ensure success of a project

What You Have:

• 1-2 years prior experience with concrete breaking and cutting equipment
• Experience running a slab saw, wall saw, or core drill
• Experience in the construction industry, required
• Experience working in the cutting and coring industry, required
• Motivated and willing to learn and train aspects of the concrete cutting industry
• Good work ethic and positive attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Driver’s License required
