Safety Coordinator
Polycrete Restorations Ltd. and Tek Roofing Ltd. is looking for a proactive and experienced Safety Coordinator to join our growing team! This role supports multiple active construction sites across the Lower Mainland and will also provide safety coverage for Tek Roofing projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide site safety leadership across multiple active construction sites throughout the Lower Mainland
- Support safety operations for both Polycrete Restorations and Tek Roofing projects
- Lead and perform internal COR audits and support preparation for external COR audits
- Establish, implement, and maintain site-specific safety programs and compliance requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits
- Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training to workers and subcontractors
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, and report findings to leadership
- Collaborate with Project Managers to develop Safe Work Procedures (SWPs)
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, compliance records, and audit requirements
- Act as a key resource to ensure WorkSafeBC compliance and enforcement of safety regulations
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including WorkSafeBC for orders, claims, appeals, etc., and other municipal officials
What We’re Looking For:
- COR Auditor certification with proven experience leading internal audits and supporting external audits
- Experience managing safety across multiple job sites simultaneously in a construction environment
- Minimum 2+ years construction experience with on-site safety coordination exposure
- NCSO or CSO certification required
- OFA Level 2 (Level 3 is an asset)
- Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage safety programs, documentation, and reporting systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with site teams, subcontractors, and leadership
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and willingness to travel across the Lower Mainland
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
Note: This role will be about 70% in office in Coquitlam, and 30% on job sites around the Lower Mainland.
Wage Range: $32.00 to $35.00 per hour
