Urban Sawing & Scanning has been cutting through concrete and expectations since 1976. With over 40 years of experience, we’ve built a reputation as BC’s go-to crew for concrete cutting, coring, and scanning. Now, we’re looking for a new teammate to join the action.

We are looking for a new team member to fill the position of Concrete Saw Operator. You will work closely with a team of concrete cutting, coring, and scanning professionals to execute various tasks associated with concrete cutting. What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be working alongside a great team of pros to handle all kinds of concrete cutting and coring tasks. Your day-to-day might include:

• Operate slab saws, wall saws, and core drills to cut and core concrete
• Grind, break, and remove concrete as needed
• Help train junior crew members and share your know-how
• Load and unload gear and materials
• Keep job sites clean and safe
• Be a safety champion — for yourself and your crew
• Deliver top-notch work that sets the bar high
• Work respectfully and professionally with clients and coworkers
• Pitch in on other tasks to help projects succeed

What We’re Looking For:

We’re after someone who’s hands-on, hardworking, and ready to learn. Here’s what helps you stand out:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with concrete cutting gear
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Experience with slab saws, wall saws, or core drills
• Solid background in construction and coring
• A willingness to learn and help others grow
• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Good communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the fly

• Job Type: Full-time
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, with overtime available
• Location: On-site (Greater Vancouver, BC)
