Dallas Watt Demo Ltd. is a family-owned demolition and specialty contracting company that’s been proudly serving the Lower Mainland for years. We’re known for getting the job done right—with professionalism, safety, and a whole lot of teamwork. Now, we’re looking for a skilled Excavator Operator to join our crew and help us take down some large-scale industrial, commercial, and institutional structures (safely and efficiently, of course!).

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operating heavy equipment (up to 350 and 380 class excavators) safely and respectfully on our job sites.
• Working closely with field supervisors and crew to demolish large-scale industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings.
• Keeping communication clear and constant with the ground crew—eye contact and signals are key!
• Reporting progress and flagging any issues to supervisors.
• Performing daily safety checks and basic maintenance on your machine.
• Occasionally working at heights or in deep spaces (don’t worry, we’ve got safety covered).
• Attending and actively participating in safety meetings.

What You Bring to the Team:

• At least 3 years of experience operating excavators in demolition settings.
• Confidence using attachments like hoe rams and processors.
• A strong understanding of safety practices—and a commitment to going above and beyond.
• Valid safety certifications.
• A valid BC driver’s license and the ability to travel to different sites.
• Physical fitness (able to lift up to 50 lbs, walk, stand, hear, and see clearly).
• Solid communication skills in English.
• A great attitude, willingness to learn, and pride in doing quality work.
