Driver with Trailer Endorsement

Dallas Watt Demo Ltd. is looking for a dependable and experienced Driver to join our team! We specialize in specialty and larger scale demolition of commercial industrial structures. Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles and a variety of heavy trailers (dump trailers, flatdeck) to transport materials and equipment to job sites and landfills
  • Load and unload construction materials at job sites and warehouse
  • Perform pick-up and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
  • Assist with inventory management, organization, and material handling at the warehouse
  • Support site crews with deliveries, pickups, and occasional labour assistance
  • Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with operations team, site supervisors, and warehouse staff

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional driving experience, preferably in construction or related industries.
  • 2+ years experience towing and backing up trailiers, sometimes into tight spaces
  • Valid Class 3 or 5 BC Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record
  • Heavy trailer endorsement licensing or willing to obtain
  • Knowledge of the Lower Mainland roadways and traffic patterns
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsive to texts, phone calls, and emails
  • Safety conscious, with concern for others
  • Calm demeanour with problem solving ability
  • Forklift certification is an asset (but not required)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Working Conditions

  • Primarily outdoors at active construction sites and occasionally indoors at the warehouse or office. Exposure to varying weather conditions is expected.
  • Frequent travel across the Lower Mainland to deliver materials and equipment to job sites. Occasional travel outside the region may be required.
  • Regular lifting, loading, and unloading of materials up to 50 lbs. Standing, walking, bending, and climbing in and out of vehicles throughout the day.
