We are seeking a motivated Yard Person / Delivery Driver to join our team. As the Yard Person, you are involved in the yard activities, including serving customers, receiving, unloading, and preparing and making deliveries. You share the responsibility of being accountable for all materials and equipment in the yard and performing tasks as directed by the Yard Lead to support store efficiency and a high level of customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Helping customers in the yard with a smile and a helpful attitude
• Loading and unloading building materials (some heavy lifting involved)
• Organizing the yard to keep it safe and tidy
• Making deliveries and keeping schedules running smoothly
• Operating equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and saws (we’ll train you!)
• Working closely with your teammates to keep things running efficiently
• Pitching in with other tasks as needed—no two days are the same!

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–2 years of experience in a lumber yard or with building materials (a plus, but not required)
• Previous delivery driving experience and a good driving record (Class 5 license required)
• Comfortable lifting 50 lbs or more and staying active throughout the day
• Willing to learn and possibly get a crane endorsement
• Great communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Able to read and understand orders, invoices, and waybills
• Safety-conscious and ready to follow provincial and federal safety guidelines
